Rizzoli & Isles Synopsis

Rizzoli & Isles is a police procedural television series produced by TNT that premiered in July of 2010.

Based on the Rizzoli & Isles books written by Tess Gerritesen Rizzoli & Isles follows the story of police detective Angie Rizzoli (played by Angie Harmon) and medical examined Dr. Maura Isles (played by Sasha Alexander) who solve some of the most notorious crimes committed in Boston. Gerritesen wrote six books in the Rizzoli & Isles series and TNT commissioned 10 episodes. The series premiered with 7.5 million viewers.

Rizzoli & Isles is currently in its first season.
