Psych
on USA stars James Roday as Shawn Spencer, a fake psychic who forms a psychic detective business with his best friend, Burton “Gus” Guster (Dulé Hill). They assist the San Diego police department in solving crimes, with some advice from Shawn’s father Henry (Corbin Bernsen), a former cop.
Chief Karen Vick (Kirsten Nelson) and detectives Juliet “Jules” O’Hara (Maggie Lawson) and Carlton Lassiter (Timothy Omundson) are skeptical of Shawn’s claims to be a psychic. However, they can’t deny that his sharp observational skills and unorthodox methods are effective.
The comedy series, which airs in many other countries and has spawned tie-in novels, will wrap up its third season on Friday, February 20. It will return for the first half of its fourth season later in 2009.
