Private Practice Synopsis
Private Practice is a successful ABC medical drama that follows the life of Dr. Addison Montgomery (played by Kate Walsh) who quits her job as a surgeon in Seattle and moves to LA where she starts working in a private practice.
The pilot aired in 2007 as a Grey’s Anatomy special and so far there have been two cross-over episodes.
13 episodes were commissioned however due to the Writers’ strike only 9 episodes aired during the first season. The show is currently in it’s second season.
The regular cast includes Tim Daly (dr. Pete Wilder), Audra McDonald (dr. Naomi Bennett), Taye Diggs (dr. Sam Bennett), Amy Brenneman (dr. Violet Turner), Paul Adelstein (dr. Cooper Freedman) and Chris Lowell (Dell Parker).
