Playmakers Synopsis

Playmakers was a sports drama television series produced by ESPN that premiered in August of 2003.

Playmakers was a sports drama about the often scandalous and problematic lives of the professional football athletes. First drama created by ESPN, Playmakers was cancelled after eleven episodes under the pressure of the NFL who disliked the way the sport was portrayed in the show.

Playmakers aired one season.
