Outrageous Fortune Synopsis

Outrageous Fortune was a comedy drama television series produced by New Zealand’s TV3 that premiered in July of 2005.

Created by James Griffin and Rachel Lang Outrageous Fortune followed the story of the criminal West family who lived in West Auckland. After the family patriarch Wolf West (played by Grant Bowler) ended up in jail, his wife Cheryl (played by Robyn Malcolm) decided to change the family’s ways and go on the straight and narrow. The series also resulted in a feature length movie Wherein Our Saviour’s Birth Is Celebrated.

Outrageous Fortune aired six seasons.
