On the Up Synopsis

On the Up is a situation comedy television series produced by BBC One that premiered in September of 1990.

Created by Bob Larbey On the Up follows the story of Tony Carpenter (played by Dennis Waterman), a self made millionaire from South London. Tony has managed to turn his taxi service into a chauffeur-driven service and because of the success of his company he is able to move his family into a big house in affluent neighborhood and hire domestic staff. Tony has a great relationship with his staff much to dismay of his wife who thinks he is being too friendly with them.
