Olive Kitteridge Synopsis

Olive Kitteridge is a drama television mini-series produced by HBO that premiered in November of 2014.

Based on the Pulitzer Prize winning novel written by Elizabeth Strout Olive Kitteridge follows the story of the titular character played by Frances McDormand. Olive is a retired math teacher who is married to Henry (played by Richard Jenkins), a kind man who runs the local pharmacy. The series depicts life in a small Maine town through the span of 25 years and the different stages in Olive’s life.
