Murder Prevention Synopsis

Murder Prevention is a crime drama television series produced by Five channel that premiered in October of 2004.

Created by Declan Croghan Murder Prevention follows the story of Murder Prevention Unit (also known as MPU), an unit within Metropolitan Police whose main goal is to prevent murders from taking place. The team is lead by DCI Patrick Goddard (played by Conor Mullen) and it uses scientific methods and good old fashioned gut instinct to collect enough evidence that will ensure the arrest of potential murderers. The series was based on real life Homicide Prevention Unit.
