Memphis Beat Synopsis

Memphis Beat is a comedy drama television series produced by TNT that premiered in June of 2010.

Memphis Beat follows the story of Dwight Hendricks (played by Jason Lee) who is a police detective in Memphis, Tennessee. Dwight is also an Elvis impersonator. While Dwight is very good at his job and knows the city of Memphis inside out, his relaxed style of conducting investigations does not sit well with Dwight’s new boss. Series executive producer is George Clooney.

Memphis Beat is currently in its first season.
