Melissa & Joey Synopsis
Melissa & Joey is a situation comedy television series produced by ABC Family that premiered in August of 2010.
Melissa & Joey follows the story of Melissa Burke (played by Melissa Joan Hart) who is a local politician. After her nephew Ryder and niece Lennox lose their parents she becomes their guardian. It proves difficult to manage her political career and take care of children so she decides to hire a live in nanny Joe (played by Joey Lawrence), a former commodities broker who went bankrupt.
Melissa & Joey is currently in its first season and has been commissioned for 10 episodes.
