Luther Synopsis

Luther is a crime thriller drama television series produced by BBC One that premiered in April of 2010.

Created by Neill Cross and starring Idris Elba (The Wire) as DCI John Luther, the series follows the story of a brilliant homicide detective who works for London’s Serious Crime Unit. After a child killer case goes wrong Luther suffers a mental break down and gets suspended. Upon his return to work Luther applies himself to his work while still trying to battle his own demons.

Luther is currently in its first season.
