Life After People Synopsis
Life After People first debuted on the History Channel in 2008 as a documentary exploring what would happen to the planet if humans suddenly and completely disappeared. It looks at the changes from one day after humans were gone to 10,000 years after their disappearance.
The special was the most-watched program in the network’s history with 5.4 million viewers. Because of its popularity, even in repeats, the History Channel decided to turn it into a full TV series. Life After People premieres its first season of 10 episodes on April 21 at 10:00 pm.
