Let Them Eat Cake is a period situation comedy television series produced by BBC One that premiered in September of 1999.

Created by Peter Learmouth Let Them Eat Cake starred Jennifer Saunders as Colombine, Comtesse de Vache and Dawn French as her maid Lisette. Colombine lived in the Palace of Versailles and the story was set 7 years before the French Revolution. Colombine’s main rival was Madame de Plonge.
