Lead Balloon Synopsis

Lead Balloon is a situation comedy television series produced by BBC2 that premiered in October of 2006.

Created by Jack Dee and Pete Sinclair Lead Balloon follows the story of Rick Spleen (played by Jack Dee), a cynical and not very successful comic living in London with his family. He is forced to make ends meet to support his family which means he regularly hosts corporate events and appears on second rate talk shows. Rick is also a very bad liar who tries to get out of sticky situations but only makes things worse for himself.

Lead Balloon is currently in its fourth season.
