Ikki Tousen Synopsis

Ikki Tousen, based on the manga published in English as Battle Vixens (which in turn is based on the Chinese novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms), follows the battle among seven rival schools.

Every student in every school is a trained warrior whose lives are determined by the jewels they carry, each of which contains the spirit and destiny of a warrior from the aforementioned Three Kingdoms.

The protagonist of Ikki Tousen is Hakufu Sonsaku, whose destiny is to unite the battling schools. This will not be achieved without having to do lots of fighting first.
