Homeland Synopsis

Homeland is a thriller crime television series produced by Showtime that premiered in October of 2011.

Created by Howard Gordon and Alex Gansa Homeland follows the story of CIA operative Carrie Mathison (played by Claire Danes), who suspects that a Marine named Nicholas Brody (played by Damian Lewis) who was held captive by Al-Qaeda for eight years has turned spy for the enemy and now poses a threat to national security.

Homeland is currently in its first season.
