Enlightened Synopsis

Enlightened is a comedy drama television series produced by HBO that premiered in October of 2011.

Created by Laura Dern and Mike White Enlightened follows the story of Amy Jellicoe (played by Laura Dern) who is a corporate beauty and health executive who suffers a public breakdown. After a stint at mental health retreat Amy starts to make drastic changes in her life that start to concern both her family and colleagues.

Enlightened is currently in its first season.
