Doctor Finlay Synopsis

Doctor Finlay is a medical drama television series produced by ITV that premiered in January of 1993.

Based on the books written by A. J. Cronin Doctor Finlay follows the story of Dr. John Finlay (played by David Rintoul) after his return home from the Second World War. He runs the practice in fictional town of Tannochbrae in Scotland. The series was based on the long running television show Dr. Finlay’s Casebook.

Doctor Finlay aired four seasons and one special.
