Deadline Synopsis

Deadline is a drama television series produced by NBC that premiered in October of 2000.

Created by Dick Wolf Deadline follows the story of Wallace Benton (played by Oliver Platt), a tabloid journalist working for the fictional New York Ledger. Benton has superb journalistic instincts and he will do anything to get the story, even if it means using shady methods to get the information he needs.
