Crossbones Synopsis

Crossbones is a period drama adventure television series produced by NBC that premiered in May of 2014.

Created by Neil Cross (Luther), James V. Hart and Amanda Welles Crossbones follows the story of Captain Edward Teach also known as Blackbeard (played by John Malkovich), a notorious pirate who rules the island of New Providence in the Bahamas and uses it as his base of operations. The British government sends an assassin whose main task is to infiltrate Blackbeard’s inner circle and kill him.

Crossbones is currently in its first season.
