Colt .45 Synopsis

Colt .45 was a western television series produced by ABC that premiered in October of 1957.

Based on the 1950 movie of the same name Colt .45 followed the story of Christopher Colt (played by Wayde Preston) who posed as an Old West traveling pistol salesman, but was in fact an undercover government agent whose main objective was to track and capture criminals. Due to the studio dispute Wayde Preston left the series in 1958 and was replaced by Donald May who took the lead and played the role of Sam Colt, Christopher’s cousin.

Colt .45 aired three seasons.
