Citizen James Synopsis

Citizen James was a situation comedy television series produced by BBC that premiered in November of 1960.

Created by Ray Galton and Alan Simpson Citizen James followed the story of Sidney Balmoral James (played by Sidney James), a Cockney with a gambling problem who was always involved with various (and dubious) get-rich-quick schemes. He was also engaged to his long suffering girlfriend Liz (played by Liz Fraser), who was growing impatient and wanted to get married.
