Catfish: The TV Show Synopsis

Catfish: The TV Show is a reality documentary television series produced by MTV that premiered in November of 2012.

Based on the 2010 movie of the same name Catfish: The TV Show is hosted by Nev Schulman. He examines the relationships of couples who have met online but not in real life. He aims to determine whether they have been truthful and the person who they have fallen for is authentic and forthcoming or a “catfish” (a person who pretends to be someone else).
