Bob Servant Independent Synopsis

Bob Servant Independent is a comedy television series produced by BBC Four that premiered in January of 2013.

The series is based on the novels written by Neil Forsyth and the radio programme Bob Servant Emails. Bob Servant Independent follows the story of the local tycoon Bob Servant (played by Brian Cox) living at the Scottish town of Broughty Ferry, who has decided to run for the by-election after the death of the local MP. However Bob does not really like the people he is supposed to represent nor he understands the political process, but rather use this opportunity for shameless self-promotion.

Bob Servant Independent is currently in its first season.
