Black Jesus Synopsis

Black Jesus is a comedy television series produced by Adult Swim that premiered in August of 2014.

Created by Aaron McGruder Black Jesus follows the story of a modern day black Jesus (played by Gerald Johnson) living in Compton, who with his group of followers is on the mission to spread love, compassion and kindness in his neighborhood.

Black Jesus is currently in its first season.
