Beautiful People (UK) Synopsis

Beautiful People (UK) is a comedy drama television series produced by BBC Two that premiered in October 2008.

Based on the memoirs written by Simon Doolan, creative director of Barneys, it follows the family life of Simon Doonan and his eccentric family. Simon is a camp boy who lives in Reading in the 1990s and dreams of escaping Reading and finding some beautiful people in London. His best friend is Kylie (also known as Kyle) who is a great fan of Princess Diana and Kylie Minogue.
