July 12th, 2008 at 7:19 amChristian Youtube clone Ultimatetube.com uses pre-role advertisement on its videos. I have seen users complaints about it. May be it is time for websites admin to take other ways to earn income from there websites. Many times the ads served either through mid-roll or post-roll or pre-roll do not leave in good taste.

While vetting goes on, I have to wait for an email telling me the URL of the newly created video; much later, I can discover the EMBED html to use to make the clip appear on my site. And that slows down rapid web site development. ‘Having to wait for vetting’ does not need to be so bad – IF you are given that html information immediately after submitting a video upload. Even better if, in the meantime, that URL could display a text message in one frame – which I could choose. Then I could make my web page live and announce to the site visitor what video clip is coming soon to the site.

March 24th, 2009 at 8:08 amUltimateTube.com uses pre-role ads on its videos very tastefully. I enjoyed watching videos there. But I would say site owners should earn more revenues so that site would continue to keep growing in this combative internet world.
Revenues are just trickling in drops these days but actually it should pour in to keep a demanding website to continuee…
