president Bruce Eisen recently left the company to start his own consultancy firm, Digital Advisors. He was a co-founder of CinemaNow and had been with the online movie service for eight years.

Now just 1 month later after it was announced he was leaving CinmeaNow it has been announced that he will be joining video search engine, ClipBlast.

Digital Content Pioneer to Help Expand Third Party Relationships for Web’s Leading Video Search and Navigation Platform

LOS ANGELES (May 8, 2007) — ClipBlast! (www.clipblast.com), the premier technology for Web-wide video search and navigation, today announced that Digital Advisors’ president and CinemaNow co-founder Bruce D. Eisen will manage business development.  In this capacity, Eisen will help grow ClipBlast!’s relationships with content providers, advertisers and technology companies.

Eisen’s expertise spans a diversity of business and creative enterprises, ranging from overseeing legal and business affairs for Trimark Pictures to writing and producing films.  He spent the last decade in film production/distribution, including seven years at CinemaNow, Inc., the leading IP based video-on-demand film distribution company.  A member of the team that founded CinemaNow in 1999, Eisen started as executive vice president and served as president for three years. 
Eisen is president of Digital Advisors, a digital distribution consulting firm counseling clients ranging from start-ups to the Fortune 500 on Web and wireless distribution strategies.

Eisen grew CinemaNow from a three employees to 50,  and negotiated CinemaNow’s agreements with more than 200 content licensors, including all the major studios as well as Lionsgate Entertainment, New Line Pictures, Showtime Networks and The Sundance Channel.  In addition, Eisen spearheaded distribution and marketing partnerships with MSN, AT&T, Best Buy and HP, among others. 

Prior to joining CinemaNow, Eisen served as senior vice president of the production/business affairs department for Trimark Pictures, Inc.   In addition to negotiating significant lines of credit with major financial institutions, he negotiated various film production and distribution agreements with the Walt Disney Company, Miramax, The Samuel Goldwyn Company, Columbia Pictures, HBO and others.

On the creative side, Eisen’s producing credits include cult genre favorites Warlock: The End of Innocence, The Dentist 2, Leprechaun in the Hood, and two films based on Stephen King properties, Trucks, and Sometimes They Come Back For More.

Eisen received a J.D. from the University of Southern California and graduated cum laude with high honors in philosophy from Clark University.
