YouTube’s Dumbest Criminal Posted Videos Of His Crimes On Site | Receives ASBO

Using YouTube For Criminal BehaviourYouTube is used by all kinds of people, to show off an achievement on a game, a funny incident with their pet, a favourite music video, and now, a whole channel dedicated to their various crimes.

Andrew Kellett, 23, from Leeds in the UK appeared in court after posting more than 80 videos of him performing various crimes, from high-speed driving, to anti-social behaviour.

An ASBO For His Crimes

Kellett received an ASBO to stop him from posting any more videos or photographs of his activities online, before a full hearing in to his crimes occurs in July.

According to OutLaw, Leeds Councillor Les Carter labelled Kellett as Leed’s dumbest criminal, saying:

“Kellett must be in the running to be Leeds’s dumbest criminal. He has handed us the evidence against him on a plate. If more criminals were as obliging, the city would be even safer.”

Videos Still Available

Kellett goes by the moniker mrchimp2007 on YouTube, and has his own channel where he posts his exploits for all to see. And it’s still up, with all videos available to watch at the present time.

This is yet another string to YouTube’s bow, although one which I’m sure it isn’t happy to have. Videos showing illegal behaviour aren’t exactly new, but there aren’t usually this many from one man.

I wonder if YouTube will now remove the channel and the videos in light of Kellett appearing in court for them, and the fact that they show illegal activity which goes against the site’s terms and conditions.
