Welcome to Sweetie Pie’s Synopsis

Welcome to Sweetie Pie’s is a reality television series produced by OWN Network that premiered in October of 2011.

Welcome to Sweetie Pie’s follows the daily life of Robbie Montgomery, a former back up singer for Ike and Tina Turner. After she suffered a collapsed lung and had to give up singing, Robbie opened a soul food restaurant in St. Louis together with her son Tim, who is also her business partner. With restaurants in two locations, they are in the midst of preparing for the opening of a third restaurant.

Welcome to Sweetie Pie’s aired four seasons, while fifth season will start airing in February of 2015.

The New Odd Couple Synopsis

The New Odd Couple was a comedy television series produced by ABC that premiered in October of 1982.

Remaking a popular 1970s sitcom that was in turn based upon a Neil Simon’s play, The New Odd Couple followed the story of two divorced African-Americans - Felix (played by Ron Glass) and Oscar (played by Demond Wilson) - who become roommates. The most recent adaptation stars Matthew Perry and Thomas Lennon.
