Michael: Tuesdays and Thursdays Synopsis

Michael: Tuesdays and Thursdays is a situation comedy television series produced by CBC that premiered in September of 2011.

Created by Bob Martin and Don McKellar Michael: Tuesdays and Thursdays follows the story of a young man named Martin (played by Matt Watts) who is struggling with neurosis and sees his therapist twice a week. Meanwhile his therapist David (played by Bob Martin) sees Martin as an ideal patient to test out his experimental techniques on that should turn Martin into a bestselling writer.

Project Accessory Synopsis

Project Accessory is a competition reality television series produced by Lifetime that premiered in October of 2011.

A spin off from Project Runway Project Accessory follows 12 accessories designers as they try to win weekly challenges, avoid elimination and win $100.000 to start their own accessories line. Host of the show is Molly Sims and judges are Kenneth Cole and InStyle editor Ariel Foxman.

SeeSaw is no more, with the website now displaying a simple message saying, “Thanks for your support but SeeSaw is no longer available.” Thankfully the U.K. is being targeted as the next market to move into by other services.

SeeSaw Swings

The last few months have seen SeeSaw live up to its name. First it was being shut, then it saved by a last minute injection of cash, and now it has actually shut because that promised injection of cash from new investors never actually materialized.

This is in stark contrast to the service’s beginnings, which promised much. When Arqiva acquired the infrastructure of the dead Project Kangaroo things were looking good, with the U.K. getting its own Hulu-like service filled with old and new content from multiple broadcasters. But a lack of interest from both broadcasters and viewers eventually ended with SeeSaw dying just two years after its inception.

Death in Paradise Synopsis

Death in Paradise is a crime drama television series produced by BBC One that premiered in October of 2011.

Death in Paradise follows the story of Richard Poole (played by Ben Miller), an English policeman who is dispatched to the Caribbean island of Saint Marie to investigate the death of another policeman who has died in the mansion of the local bigwig. The only problem with this assignment in paradise is that Richard hates sea, sand and the sun.

Death in Paradise is currently in its first season.

Good Vibes Synopsis

Good Vibes is an animated comedy television series produced by MTV that premiered in October of 2011.

Created by David Gordon Green Good Vibes follows the story of Mondo (voice by Josh Gad), who moves with his mum Babs from New Jersey to Playa del Toro in California. Mondo feels out of his element but soon he meets Woodie (voice by Adam Brody), a local who takes him upon himself to show Mondo what living in California is all about.

Hulu is busy expanding to new international markets and acquiring more content for its viewers. You wouldn’t think that until a month ago it was up for sale as its current owners looked to pass it off to someone else.

Hulu Back On Course

Now that Hulu is no longer being sold, basically because no one was willing to pay the asking price and accept the conditions of the sale, the company is forging ahead with its plans to build on the success it has experienced so far.

We’ve already seen Hulu launch in Japan, representing the first international expansion for the company. And this week Hulu secured new premium content, with The CW being added to its channel lineup.

You have to wonder what all that fuss about wanting to sell was in the first place, because there is clearly a solid business here.
