A lifetime subscription could be purchased making it just a one off cost (no details on price yet though). It isn’t clear exactly what this subscription is for given that Monsoon is not providing any content themselves.
The closest thing I’ve seen from this from SlingMedia is the DiSH 922 DVR, but that does have a cable subscription also.

January 16th, 2010 at 10:25 amI have the Titanium WiFi and I use it for just streaming my home TV over the internet to my laptop which I love. I want it to just have a good DVR and Blackberry support. If this can do all of that without a subscription for those functions, I would upgrade in a second.
