I think the idea is you have your HD devices hooked up directly to your TV and can control them through the universal remote. They are then hooked up separately to your Zaggbox for remote viewing via internet (which won't be HD anyway but well compressed for internet viewing). So it is essentially a Slingbox. Then the added bonus is you can view media from any networked device (e.g a NAS or Laptop) somewhere in the house and watch that content. You can also send any of the media on the Zaggbox to any other device in the house over the home network. The universal remote is supposed to be pretty sweet too, especially for the iPhone. Now if it was $400 I'd think it might be worth having given its functionality - but it certainly doesn't have $800 functionality - nowhere close.
