This is what remains to be seen. Will the TV audience like the same content that the people at YouTube do? After all it is the YouTube staff who have always decided what content was "good enough" to be featured on or promoted by the site. I thought the Internet was going to be all about freedom and individuals being able to compete with the big boys based on merit alone. But as always this is not turning out to be the case. We have traded the old media gatekeepers at newspapers, magazines and Tv who controlled what was widely available for the new media gatekeepers who are pretty much the same as the old ones.
