The Closer Synopsis
The Closer
, starring Kyra Sedgwick, is about police chief Brenda Johnson, a specialist in getting suspects to confess. Brenda moves from Atlanta to Los Angeles to head up a new division focusing on high profile cases.
The team assigned to her is suspicious at first, since she is an outsider and has a few personality quirks. However, they soon come to trust and respect her methods and leadership.
TNT airs The Closer, which is the highest rated scripted series on ad-supported cable. It has been nominated for multiple awards and Sedgwick has won a Golden Globe and two Satellite Awards for her work on the series.
