As a DISH employee I know that the sling adapter gives me the ability to view live TV, recorded programs, or manage my DVR from anywhere using my iPhone. The Solo does not have a coax input which makes it very difficult to set-up. I have had mine several days now and have been unable to get it to work. I can't even find a device to buy that has a coax input to pass the signal through and has the REQUIRED IR function. Love my original Slingbox but it doesn't work with iPhone 3G.
