Sadly that ZML was closed. Now I use movies34.com for movie download. It’s even more convinient than ZML.
Check it you were using ZML.

Well i have used this site for over 5 years and maily paid a small price for older movies that i hadn’t watched before which i wanted to keep so as far as i’m concerned i paid for it so its not illigal in any way at all actually. I say allow the site to keep running and a long as its a members only site i think its a fair deal!!

It’s theft on a larger level than you are addressing here. Say you made cameras for a living, and someone from Russia stole the cameras to sell for cheap. Pretty soon your company would be out of business and you’d be out of a job. In the long run, these pirates are stealing jobs. We have more to worry about than just having a credit card scammed.

The ZML site has been “down” for the past several days. I say “down” because there is no longer any access to the download function but you can still provide your credit card info.

If you weren’t wary about signing up with a shady website that operates out of areas without copyright enforcement before, this should be a sign to you to avoid this website and its ilk.

SCAM SITE.

You have to upgrade to a “Premium Account” to download anything new than “2008″ – they then debit your credit card US$39.90 no warning – just snatch.

If its not illegal – it should be.

Well I’ve used the site as mentioned and I must say it’s price appeal is what lured me in $2.95 a pop – bargain download price @ that sure as hell’s name beats P2P.

I really like this site. I pay for my movies.. copy them to DISK
to watch on my TV… I am assuming that the my payment is RENTAL and the site pays copyrite costs. I see little difference
in my use of the DOWNLOADED DISK. I do not sell the DISK; I reuse them. To me, it is the same as a Rental

the “right side of legal”? The site is legal under Russian Organization for multimedia and Digital Systems (ROMS) and downloading from this site is no different than Canadians coming into the US to buy cheaper merchandise or US citizens to enter Mexico and come back with again cheaper stuff. ROMS pays royalties to the copywrite holders but based on the Russian economy. If our dollars enter a forign economy that economy will begin to prosper and the royalties will be increased as the economy increases. Fiar trade, capitalism, whatever you want to call it with free and open borders flying to russia and buying LEGAL DVD’s for a fraction of the price and bringing them home is totally legal, why not downloads as well? So long as you aren’t reselling or otherwise breaking copywrite laws I don’t see a problem.
