Canterbury’s Law Synopsis
Canterbury’s Law is a legal drama television series produced by Fox that debuted in March of 2008.
Canterbury’s Law follows the story of Elisabeth Canterbury (played by Julianna Margulies) who is a famous defense attorney. She takes on unpopular and risky cases that jeopardize her career and put a strain on her relationship with her husband Matthew (played by Aidan Quinn).
Canterbury’s Law was ordered as a mid-season replacement and the number of episodes was cut from 13 to six due to the Writers Guild of America Strike. The series was canceled in April of 2008.
