Ambassador Synopsis

Ambassador is a political drama television series produced by BBC One that premiered in January of 1998.

Created by Russell Lewis Ambassador follows the story of Harriet Smith (played by Pauline Collins), who is appointed as the new British ambassador in Ireland. Harriet wants to do well in her new role and finally put the murder of her husband behind her however her personal and professional life collides as her son is not supportive of her new role and still blames her for his father’s murder.
