The Super Dimension Fortress Macross Synopsis

The classic 1980s anime The Super Dimension Fortress Macross depicts a battle between humans and aliens called the Zentradi.

In addition to the space battles, the focus of the series is a love triangle concerning the pilot Hikaru Ichijyo, the pop singer Lynn Minmay, and Lieutenant Misa Hayase.

Later in the ’80s the series would be edited together with two other unrelated shows to create the popular international cartoon series Robotech.
