   How do both these websites make a profit? Whats their Business model especially Expert Village.Videos are free to watch and they pay users to put them up?

   Advertising and possibly licensing videos.

   You may not see video adverts yet as the video advertising business is still evolving. YouTube is still only in the testing stage with video ads, so many video sharing sites are only just beginning to put ads into videos.

   You can see adsense adverts on the expert village site.
