I love Screenflow because it makes my job so much easier. But I have a completely different experience with their support. They do reply to your emails with the most clueless suggestions. My 1.2 crashed and stopped processing sound afterwards. After a while, they recommended that I reinstall the OS. I found a workaround by creating a different user and reinstalling screenflow. Then v 1.2.1 came out, and they broke yet more features, so I had to roll back to 1.2.
Don't get me wrong, it's great software and makes podcasting a breeze as long as you workaround all their numerous bugs and never ciontact support with a serious problem, of which there are plenty.
