The problem with this is that innocent people could potentially get their names dragged through the mud by others with a range of motives from maliciousness to revenge. People who are accused of misdoings and crimes have the right to face their accuser. It's a part of the justice system in this country that should not be taken for granted. The problem with using networks like YouTube to accuse someone of an alleged crime or misconduct is that it denies people the right to face their accuser and defend themselves. I hate to say it, and I don't mean to sound cruel, but this particular video seems a bit contrived to me. I've seen the kind of emotional pain rape can cause, and something about this girl's seems like a performance more than genuine hurt or pain. I hope I'm right and that she wasn't raped. But if it is a hoax, then she has done a great disservice to the women who really have been raped. AND of course, someone was falsely accused whose name is now known globally as a rapist (exactly what the problem is with this medium of appeal). Good point.
