BirghCove and thePlatform differ in a number of ways and will appeal to different video publishers with different aims. My understanidng is that Brightcove is generally a low cost solution but involve's revenue share. Whereas the Platform is the reverse. Also Brightcove's custom options are not as custimizable and brandable as thePlatform which gives a lot more freedom. mpsPresent also encompasses a desktop video player (as opposed to browser based).
