You're not wrong - but who said there only has to be one company in one industry space.

BirghCove and thePlatform differ in a number of ways and will appeal to different video publishers with different aims.

My understanidng is that Brightcove is generally a low cost solution but involve's revenue share. Whereas the Platform is the reverse.

Also Brightcove's custom options are not as custimizable and brandable as thePlatform which gives a lot more freedom.

mpsPresent also encompasses a desktop video player (as opposed to browser based).

I may be missing something here, but Brightcove has always given publishers the ability to launch highly-customized, branded Internet video channels and players. Here are a few Brightcove customers that have done just that:

ELLE Magazine
http://www.elle.com/videoplayer/

Sony BMG
http://musicbox.sonybmg.com/

IFC
http://ifc.com/video

FOX's Speed TV
http://www.speedtv.com/myraceday/

Fangoria TV
http://www.fangoria.tv/

Discovery Channel
