<description>The music industry had to cave into Youtube, as proven by Souljah Boy and other music lovers. Youtube provided a great platform to be viewed my many for free on a global basis. What artists and companies lost out in revenue originally they gained in audience recognition and the clever ones found ways to make this work for them.

Youtube is the MTV of the web, just as MTV ruled tv for decades Youtube did it in a few years and combined with Myspace the power of free sites with online audiences built in able artists to market and break their own material and disrupt the traditional Record industry Major label deal model.

Great blog article and will share it with others.
