Mogulus in my opinion is on the bottom of the list when it comes to internet streaming. For services that have both a community and functionality Ustream and Stickam rule the road.

Ustream gives you a better sense of professionalism while Stickam gives you one of a large audience. Mogulus barely has anything against their competition.

Awesome post on the mogulus/ustream comparison. I wish I’d stumbled on this prior to me delving into the live-streaming world. I tried just about everything and ended up sticking to Ustream.

One thing that I really like about Ustream is that even though it has a good community, the community doesn’t get forced on the end viewer via overzealous players. My boss has sort of a christian event center he runs on the side, and he would not want teen girls dancing in bakinis popping up on his christian church-like site. Myself, hell I’d welcome that with open arms, but you get the point ;p

To see how it fits in, feel free to check out the http://www.marketplacebelievers.org wordpress site I threw together for a side-endeavor of where I work. The only time we’ve taken advantage of the streaming so far is when we were testing, but we want the capability there should we need it, even if it’s only once a year.

Ustream can be (depending on chosen skin/theme) very clean and fit into the site without any hassle at all. From a “corporate world” standpoint, that is sometimes the only real determining factor. Anything beyond that is just icing on the cake.
