It reminds me of a few years back, in the Seattle area, when a woman threating to jump from a viaduct, during the evening rush hour, was encouraged by the drivers to jump. They wanted to get home, but the police had blocked the highway, while they tried to talk to her. She jumped. Whose fault is it? Not the technology's fault. Some of the fault has to fall on those people that encourage these lost people to die. I agree that it isn’t the technology that killed this young man, but when you’re feeling that depressed, it can’t help to have others encouraging you to end it.
