<description>You know, I like the Joost downloadable player for the navigational features. When I found out about Hulu, I liked the fact that there was no downloading of software, the fact that there was many more movies to watch, and the embed feature on Hulu is rather flawless, except when they remove a video you have embedded.

Now, Move Networks has announced their pair up with Microsofts Silverlight software. This will bring the same DVD-like functions we find with the Joost software to networks like ABC, FOX, and Discovery Channel. It would be nice to see both Joost and Hulu adopt the Silverlight functionality or a similar counterpart.

I feel this would bring everyone to a similar state with quality and functionality which then would leave the competitive part of the industry focused on the content. That is what should be done. Only time will tell.
