I've recently just started using Last.fm and really like it. Something similar for TV shows and movies would be awesome. Obviously it would work slightly different, but a personalized TV channel, recommended TV channel, TV channel on certain genre etc. which had a very low subscription fee, and some non-intrusive ads would work extremely well. The lastfm biz model in TV is an untapped market.
