I have HDMI to DVI cable on my 42″ to my PC and it works super.

I want to see full HDMI card for a PC – working in BOTH directions. And with full audio. TV people will have to help us on this, too. Just a dream. Easy way to have a full PVR

New to this, but have a HDMI Cable and connectors on both TV and PC, but can’t seem to make it work. Any ideas. I select the right output on the TV, is there something that must done on the computer?

I have connected my 46″ LCD to my PC via HDMI and it works perfectly picture is great and sound is awsome through the stereo. Problem is sound through my logitec speakers stops when the HDMI is connected. Why does it do this and is there a way to get sound through both?

By connecting a PC/MAC trough a HDMI connection and use a AV receiver, will I get audio and video from the computer?

The sound is usually handled by the motherboard or Sound Card on a PC so will not be sent out via the HDMI. You’ll need to hook up sound seperately.

I have a ATI Radeon HD 3450 in my dell studio pc. I hooked up a hdmi cable to my 47 inch samsung LCD TV and directly to the pc using the hdmi port on the pc(no adapters). Once I selected the correct moinitor the picture came in wonderfully, but no sound at all? I tested the hdmi cable via dvd player and lcd and it worked fine. Why is the sound not working???

Almost all HDTVs have VGA (also called “PC Input.”). VGA supports high definition (the best output your PC can generate) and you can get the cable with audio too. Check out PCTVCables.com

I have a new computer but no dvi or hdmi cables, can you go usb to usb?

I seem to always want to do something that manufacturers design against.
I have a HD DVR and would like to get recorded HD material to my PC.
Now I have Pinnacle labs stuff for handling the job with non-HD recordings on my PC.

What I would like to know is what do I need to do the same with HD recordings.

Hello, this was a well written articlw but It missed some HDMI to HDMI stuff like the problem I am having. I have my laptop conected to my 42″ LCD TV it it looks great but the audio is still coming from my laptopn and is lagged. Any suggestions, anyone?
